Super service from MK
Evening All,
As posted on the SVA section of the forum,my MK failed at Chadderton yesterday due to the flexi brake hoses fouling the upper wishbones on full
lock.
The advice of the majority of replies was to put spacers on the steering rack. I went down to MK this afternoon and Phil made me a pair of spacers
whilst I waited.
Spacers now fitted and problem now sorted. You can't ask for better service than MK gave me. Ready for retest on Monday.
Thanks to all who helped with advice.
Must go now as HWMBO is calling me out of the garage.
Regards
David

glad youve sorted it mate but I just think theyve built so many cars there instruction book should be absolutely perfect even on copied cd and you
print it off at home
afterall it wouldnt be difficult for A to take pics of B whilst hes building the car and put together something
Ive had quite a few things where Ive gone to do a job and couldnt do it for a certain reason which holds you back
ie Xr4x4 driveshafts dont fit the MK hubs and need machining etc etc
