Any one know the bhp/tonne for a pinto powered 2.0 MK and a Blade 919cc Mk.

2.0 pinto is 160 bhp per ton or so i was told. i'm sure steve gusterson had an anorak moment and worked it out a couple or 3 years back

let me guess. Feel free to correct figures.
pinto 120bhp, weight 550kgs
blade 130bhp, weight 475kgs
that would be 220 for the pinto, and 275 for the blade. Sounds a bit high.

Whatever the figures work out to be, I can confirm that a 'blade in a bog-standard chassis is bleedin' exciting! (thanks to Jon Ison for
that experience... )

If i can find the thread the pinto was calculated in bog std set up at 105bhp,i'm sure it was steve gusto who did the figures (where is he when
you need him )

the blade should weight alot less than that too. 425-450kg maybe less.

My pinto Indy is over 300 BHP per tonne

I bet yours is over 400 Chris

105bhp and 600kgs would be 175bpt.
I was just guessing weights at being 75kgs different, i never realised car engines were that much heavier! I based my 475 on the recent threads
though!

my fury fireblade weighed in at 465kg so I would have though a MK was a bit lighter than that
