Rolling Road

I want to get my car on a rolling road to check BHP and torque, plus additional set up etc etc. does anyone know if there is one in the Midlands area ? and approx how much it costs.

Thanks Paul

Thor are recognised as the best in the midlands area.

Roughly about £150 for a rolling road and circa an hour of tuning.

Yep Thor Racing do have a good rep. also they are pretty good with Supras.

They use a hub mounted dyno which is about as accurate as you'll get without taking the engine out.

Do you want someone to tune your carbs or map your FI engine?

You need to go to a rolling road suited to what you want. Thor might be the best people in the world at mapping 200sx's or Alpha FI systems but could be completely useless at carbs having never seen one in there life.

Dave Ashurst seems reasonably happy with the place he's gone a few times.

thanks for all the advise, i think i will try the place at cradley heath been as im running a holly carb. Froggy, must admit i would prob be a bit disappointed with 235hp as all the goodies i have done states 270!!! but your probably more experienced than i am on these things , so will be interesting to see. However if it is around 235hp then the thing is more than to fast now!!!
To be honest the grip is not as bad as i thought it was going to be if you use throttle control you would be amazed how much power you can get down .
