SVA PASS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Finally got MAC certificate handed to me this morning 6 days before my 6 month retest period expired. Had initial test October and just failed on a
few points, one being emissions. Retest in November resulted in another fail, this time just O/S headlamp dipping wrong way (swapped at MK) and the
bloody emissions again. This was despite taking it to Mac1 and having it setup on their Sun machine. Thoroughly pi**ed off and with the terrible
weather I put it in the garage and with work commitments that's where it stayed. But with my 6 month retest period up next Monday I decided to
give it another go. Spent 3 hours at my mate's MOT centre on Sunday adjusting the fuel on the Power Commander until we finally got a balance.
Still wasn't altogether confident that Beverley's machine would read the same.
However at 8.30am this morning she sailed through. Still can't stop smiling. Just got to get it registered now, but as I'm due to be
working in Brussels for a couple of weeks soon this might have to wait till I get back.

You bet. Drove it there this morning and what a blast. I'm afraid my jubilant mood may have been reflected in the use of the throttle on a
couple of occasions on the way home.
Forgot to add, cheers to Chris Mason for the suggestion on Saturday and to Mac1 for the short notice hire on the cat - did the trick guys.

Nice one Richard.
Get it registered and take it to Brussels . Are you a MEP?
yours, Pete
I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

Well done mate...
I am soon to follow with my viento (hopefully)
1. The point of a journey is not to arrive.
2. Never take life seriously. Nobody gets out alive anyway.

Cheers for all the nice comments guys. Still on a high after this morning. Been to VRO this afternoon, just waiting for new cover note to come
through then all paperwork will be in by the ned of the week. Hope to have inspection before I go to Brussels on the 3rd but not too stressed about
that now. Not an MEP Pete, subcontract to exhibition designer building show stands. Go all over - Russia, Iceland, Poland etc. Get 2 return trips
on North Sea ferries in the space of 9 days so time for a couple of beers. Then straight up to do another in Glasgow for a week - another cracking
place for a night out. Then back for some driving Catch up with you guys at the shows/ MK Sat morning club.
