freelander diff
Has anybody fitted a freelander diff in there car ?
If so what did you do with the driveshafts did you have to get made to measure ones,ie freelander lobro joint at diff end Sierra cv joint at hub
end.
who can make these up at a resonable price ?
Any advice is appreciated

Glad you asked - I can't help, but I'm toying with the idea of chucking a 2.88 Jag IRS behind mine (non Indy). I know it's heavy,
but I really want the f/d ration. 3.92 is useless.

and im interested in the weight of the freelander diff, if anyone happens to know!
I believe geoff beresford from GB engineering makes custom half shafts, ask ns dev.

A sierra open diff weighs 20.5kgs, so you must be comparing it to a sierra lsd - are they about 30kgs? Freelander is open i believe, so that would be
circa 17kegs. But then theres the lsd unit to add on still. Do you know the exact weight?
