Blimey it works!!! YAY!!
Started my car for the 1st time today and it runs YAY!!!!!
I have an issue with bad earths (my fault) and i have been advised to replace the thin red poss cable from the battery to the starter as it was not
beefy enough apparently.
But it runs thats the main thing.

Yeah thanks guys. It's a great feeling to see it run although it does need sorting as it smokes like a smokey thing that smokes allot!
Once it's running nice i'll be able to take it out for a run down the road to see if it does everything it's suposed to.
I'm going to make a concerted effort to get loads done next week and try and finish the car if i can. What with the engine running and the show
this weekend i'll be mr eager beaver!!!!
happy days

Pinto engine.
Mine smokes, but I don't mind. It's old enough to smoke legally anyway.

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

Mac#1 who re built the engine said it was because the rings need bedding in and they put in re build oil which is whats burning. Doesn't seem so
bad now.
I have now officially driven the car forwards 3" and back 3". I can now say that i have driven the car and can state that the handling is
100% level and stable
