Front suspension.
Does anyone know why the castor on the Indy front suspension is too little even with the upright inserts set to max. I'm able to drive the car
now and the only way to get any self centreing action is to apply a lot of toe out. Someone who knows far more about chassis design than me has said
that the castor angle is not enough. After the SVA I will be able to restore the toe out on to normal amounts, but suspect that the steering will not
have enough "feel" or feedback when cornering. The problem looks easy to solve by changing the top wishbone to allow the upright to tilt
back a few degrees more. I'm sure there is a good reason why this has not been done, anyone know? It's not a problem on the Sierra so why
now.

Hi,
Are you sure you have your front upper wishbones on correctly? They are handed so you will see marked difference in castor if they are the wrong way
round.
Just a thought...
