I couldn't see the point of just head butting the other guys chest, surely if you are going to get sent off for something, you might as well
make it worth it and put the other guy out of the game as well.
And no, I don't play football
He is a great player, but it must have been something really bad said to him, no excuse i know, but it is mitigating circumstances

Zidane decending from a morrocan who could swim well probably didnt apreciate a camel joke
I thought the italians were very passionate singing there national anthem,with only a couple of the "french" mumbling through it reminded
me of England.
As for zidane, he made the front page which is probably what he wanted anyway.

maybe he had some kind of fued with the other player, and thought it was a good way to end his career? i think they should train referees to overlook
stuff like that, would make football a little more interesting- no more boring diving- we need more players like zidane and rooney

I'm in France at the moment on a Savate (French Kickboxing) training and grading week so I guess a fairly good place to watch the match!
I didn`t fully understand the translation but according to one of my instructors; the Italian called Zidane (a Muslim) a "Muslim, Terrorist,
Sh!t". Or maybe it was a "Terrorist, Muslim, Sh!t".
But either way I guess he didn't like it!
