"Cat" powerd GT1 ?????/

eventfull day to say the least.........

had electrical probs in qualifying only managed 1, yes 1 lap but after much running round by the "boyz" managed to get out for the race but started 32nd out of a 32 car field........

lights go to green, by the old hairpin 9 places made up then over the next 3 laps slowly got up to midfield but.............

5th time into chicane "bang" oil pipe split from cooler, instant spin oil all over the rear end, including the exhaust "nice little fire" then wallop ! tyre wall" ouch.......

back to MK's and after 3 hours body re building, porta power bending, steam cleaning, engine sorting turn the key n the bugger lives again.........

hence the word "CAT" this engine as now used 3 of its 9 lives, dumping its oil 3 times n still alive......

so its back to Donnington in the morning for another crack........

a "MASSIVE" thanks to all the boyz, you know who you are, without you we would not be on our way back in the morning.....

long live the CAT.

drive shaft started to let go on 5th lap, let go on 7th lap..doh, we was getting thru field ok but there was yellows all round circuit, well on overtaking bits anyhow wich slowed progress a little, but i was such a good boy and just saved myself a ticking off by spotting one just in time on the start finish straight and dropping back behind.....

but we went home smiling.....

yes there is talk of a V8, watch this space, but not just yet.....
