"not capable of exporting"

On the swedish Locost forum at http://locost.monkeytoys.com/ somebody who had been in contact with MK (how did he manage that?!) got the answer "due to domestic sales we are not capable of exporting" when he wanted to order.

Does this means I should rule out the MK Indy entierly?

Not what it says on the website.

5. Do you export to........................?
Yes, we can export worldwide subject to carriage charges from £160, for example sending a kit to singapore would cost around £250 in carriage.

And there's a Norweigian agent on the links page.

Cheers

Chris

I know, but then if they don't have time to answer e-mails I suspect they don't have time to update the webpage either.

I know, but it looks like they only sell Stuart Taylor's race chassis.

Actually I was planning on collecting it myself. With the chassis on the roof and the plastic bit in the boot it should work.

Are we talking about http://www.locost.no/ ? They don't seem to have any links to manufactuers at all, but earlier it said it was the ST chassis. It doesn't say anything now so they may have switched.

Last time I was there Martin was busy trying to fit as much as possible into a crate for exporting. He had two chassis in as well as bodypanels and was rearranging them about for best fit!

I'm sure if spoken to he would oblige. Unless other decisions have been made due to some other problem he has had with exporting. It's never a straighforward proposition due to the shipping paperwork etc.

Spoken to Mk today.

They can and do export worldwide.

The people at http://www.locost.no/ import MK's into Norway, that is why they are listed as nowegian agents on the MK website.

Cars have been imported to Sweden

The MK website has been updated Today

Cheers
