easiest alternator type

I know this has been posted on loads of times but could someone answer this.

Vicky green loom fitted, which alternator type is easiest to fit using this loom as wiring isn't my strong point and which alternator is easiest to mount by fabricating a bracket as I have no access or skill at welding.

What engine is it going on matey??

Any alt is easy to wire. Ign feed, main battery cable and warning lamp wires thats it. Just knowing where they go and someone on here will know.

The Vicki green loom is made to connect to sierra pinto alt i believe so it will plug straight onto one. My VG loom is on a zetec and a dihatsu charade alt. I just cut the plug off and put some spades on.

As for a bracket theyr easy enough to make. Just a plate to mount to the block and some arms to bolt it to. You just need to use thick enough metal. Im at work so havent got any links to post until i get home. Theres some nice plans about for simple brackets.

I Have a couple of zetec ones for sale if theyr any use.
