Kit Ordering Process

I cant get on the MK website at the moment so i thought i would ask on here.

Do i pay a deposit and then pay the rest when i collect my kit. How long does it normally take for the kit to be made and do they do a faster service at cost?

Also is it worth getting the chassis powder coated, what are the benefits. Has anyone sprayed theirs themselves with something like hammerite?

Thanks

Chris

Hey greg mate

when you order your kit you pay a £100 deposit and upon collection pay the rest of the balance. It normally takes 8-10 weeks and you cannot rush mr keenan with his welding.

IMO powder coation isnt worth the money so i am in the middle of hand painting my chassis and wishbones etc and its looking pretty good so far.

Any more questions just ask mate

Cheers

James

i heard from bob that he wishes he'd saved the money spent on powder coating as it chips off same as anything else annd you then have to repain the chipped bits!!

a paint brush or spray kit has to be the way to go in my mind, but do a search for painting the chassis and I'm sure there'll be loads of ideas!!

Ned.
