Help don't know what to do

Serious problem here guys:

Following my post here

I am very tempted to build a MEV Rocket with a V6 engine, 300 BHP and end up with 600BHP per tonne

Down side is I would have to sell my Indy

Soooo....... big question.........What is the fastest Pinto Indy worth and would thtere be any interest if it were to become available?

Picture borrowed from Tony - MK Blade - hope you don't mind Tony

Cheers

but why don't you just put v6 in the indy?

had a look at the rocket, looks like a sand rail dune buggy but not as nice.

Hi as said above if your going to try and put big hp mounted like that in a chassis i would definatly get a drive in one first or at least do some proper research on the handeling of a sylva mojo/marlin sexie(or whatever it's called) wich have a simalar setup.

cheers matt

Hi Matt,

I appreciate that you have some expertise in building cars which handle well on the track - what are your thoughts on a middy like the MEV Rocket,

Would you think it is a good idea?

Cheers

Mark

Assuming it runs in sports libre class in hillclimb events, you won't be anything like competitive in a vehicle like that, even with 500bhp!

Why would you assume it would run in sports Libre?

So the race is on! You had better get a bigger rear view mirror!

As for the mev rocket idea, bit of a risky venture,as its performance has yet to be proven, can't see you getting much under 650 kgs with a V6 in it.What are your other options and thoughts, can you not go bike engine,or single seater, what about the mk sprint-R,still unproven, but I am sure Martin would let you borrow one to evaluate for a weekend at harewood,if he let me loose in one at cadwell I am sure he would let youthen there's always the new Indy chassis, have you had a go in one yet,if not I am sure you will be impressed.

I guess the problem with the single seater is you get into a class of very quick things!

p.s. anyone know where I can get a 50bhp Nitrous kit cheap!
