Distributor shaft
Hello
Help, I am stuck.
I am building an Indy. I have been advised by a main ford dealer to contact you guys about my probelm.
During my build I broke the plastic distributor shaft on the front of the engine with the hoist (grrr) anyway I contacted fords for the part but the
leadtime is months which means my car is stood idle...I need a distributor shaft for the 1.8cvh, can anyone advise where I can get one (already tried
the local scrappies and the onese on the interweb). Has anyone got one going spare?
Cheers
Malc

You should find one on hear as most don't fit the 1.8cvh motor (but I am!)...
How are you doing the engine mounts, any pics?

I got them done. Modified the pinto ones from MK which cam with the kit. But... since then i have fitted a Westfield exhaust manifold which clashes
with the mount so now I am currently making one to fit, hopefully by the end of week work permitting.

Have you tried Burton? Link
They might have them in stock, if so they will get it out within a couple of days. Best to give them a call as their site might not list it in an
obvious place.

Distributor shaft?
Do you mean rotor arm? If so you can probably get one from a motor factor
