Excited......

Pick it up on Sunday (as long as the cheque clears!!).

Massive thanks to Sean for his basic Indy mechanics class last Sunday (he changed the oil + filter with me!!!).

Considering changing the wheels to 15" Pro Races with R888's.

What are the 17" wheels worth???

Looks awesome. Might find that microscopic number plate attracts unwanted police attention though!

A few points....

One: It'll spend most of its time in Richard Brunstrum's AOR so the plate issue is a contentious one at the moment.

Two: Think if I can afford it I'll buy a second set of wheels and keep both unless I can get £350+ for the 17's on ebay.... must be wortha punt at an auction listing with reserve set

Three: I used to race a BSB Spec Fireblade so the car will still feel a little slow. However, hopefully I'll live longer as a consequence!!

Four: The exhaust is repackable.... may well remove a little bit of the wadding to see what sort of noises I can conjour up!!!

Five: If the summer goes well I may well try the self build option next!

Six: I know what Sean's new project idea is and although I'm saying nothing I can't wait for a ride in it!!!!

Seven: Thanks for all your help on here. Appreciate I haven't acquired the self build kudos deserved but you lot have been dead helpful.

My car has never had a front 'plate on either, and I've never been pulled (specifically) for it

I reckon if plod get a bit funny, it's easier to say "well it was there when I set off" than explain why I have a tiny plate on

Ive had been on all bikes but theres something about the engine in a car and your arse 2 inches from the floor

plus the car pisses the bike for handling

Well the car was delivered today.

I love the look of these wheels but im biased i would have said around £300 to £350 is possible they are a nice wheel in good condition and only done a handfull of miles on the tyres.

post them on here first then the ebay if no option or piston heads.com is another option.

Hope you enjoy the car as much as i did it is a good un thats for sure. was heart wrenching in a way seeing all that hard work going down the road but hey bring on the new project?????????????????
