Tool Info
Hi Guys
I am planning on going to a classic car show this weekend near Bath as they have some stands there and look at the tool suppliers.
2 questions really,
a. What tools do i need to start building up a supply of, i think i have some of the ones I will need.
b. any good suppliers online or makes to try and go for.. I know I need v.good quality ones.

3mm upwards
centre punch

BUY DECENT DRILL BITS!!!!!!! You will get through them plenty quick enough if you buy cheap ones. Get the best you can afford. I can't remember
which ones i used but they were really good.

A half decent bench grinder will save you a small fortune on drill bits. Just re-sharpen them when they stop cutting and you won't need many
drill bits at all.

I bought a set of titanium bits from B&Q, think they are made by bosch. Absolutely amazing cutting power. They cost about £50-60, which i thought
was a lot at the time.
However, like hellfire said. When they stop cutting i re-tip them and they are like new. Have only had to replace them when they snap (that familiar
moment when you go through the front of the hollow section and 'bounce' on the back!)
Can also by them seperately so can keep the box topped up for not a lot of money.
Best bits i've ever used.

I too carry a PPK, although when doing more distance or skirmish work i use the Walther 2000: aint she a beauty!

Don't forget to buy a good treaded nut rivet set!
I really love that tool and use it extensively. The aluminium threaded rivets can be used even with thin GPR (if you use metal washers). I only rivet
what I know for sure doesn't have to come off again. When in doubt I use the threaded rivnuts.
