stoneleigh show today
hiya people, really nice to put faces to names, i had to rush off in the end and have only just got home
was the first big drive of the indy since sva and it went like a dream
big special thanks to andy (ash3) the band really went down well, very different.
BBQ also really good idea, although i managed to spend £12 woops.
hope to see you all soon

Yeah it was nice meeting people. The nipper recorded a video of the band on his digital camera and said he really liked them.

Great day out. Good to meet up with the forum fellas. Nice run home too. 132 miles in 2 hours dead. Including going through west end and sarf london.

I shouldnt be reading these threads as its making me jealous that im not able to make it.
Does anyone know who's car this is or more specifically who made the cage? I have seen this car about quite a bit....wasnt it in some of the MK
promo shots?

I was in awe of some of the big expensive kits on show - the fit and finish were incredible.
I was very disappointed with the Tifosi frog-eye kit - I used to own one of the originals - the GRP finish was dreadful, and the presentation of the
whole car was poor. It was like a kit from the 70s.

Good to meet a few people, but there weren't many around when a popped by. Saw Flak but you'd gone by the time we'd refueled.
Seemed to be not much new this year which was a pity. The ultima guys were out in force though, seemed to match the number of cobra's, which
was interesting.
Inspired to finish the car for next year.

I think MK made the rollcage, the car belongs to Ian Kempson who raced it in the kit car champ last year. A few of us saw him at brands and Donington
and he put in good efforts, finished 9th overall for the year out of 43 cars so not bad at all.
He's puting together the new MK for the rest of the season so we may well go and give him a bit of support.
