prop length
guys,
I'm in the early build stage (indy) at the moment (collected my kit monday) and i am trying to figure out if i need to shorten my propshaft.
Problem is that i do not yet have my engine mounts, so i cannot position the engine......
setup is:
1600 pinto, 4 spd 'box, std non LSD Diff and early driveshafts (non bolted type)
anyone got a clue? I'd like to know so i can have as much as possible painted, prepped and ready to fit when i get my chassis sorted (Going to
make some roll-hoop mods)
cheers,
Sebastiaan
(and yes i know i'm a cheapskate with my 1600 4spd...... just remember the title of the book that started it all..... )

Sorry to hi jack your thread, but i need to ask the same question. Sort of..
I left my prop shaft with MK on saturday, but didnt mention i have a MT75 gearbox, will the gearbox need cutting to a different length?
Thanks
Chris

I rang up earlier and spoke to them, and it turns out i will have to get it done elsewhere, as they cant mod the mt75 driveshaft.
