Ewww nasty.
Andy
When I die, I want to go peacefully like my Grandfather did, in his sleep -- not screaming, like the passengers in his car.

No seatbelt or helmet?
It might have saved her some of her injuries?
Hope she gets well

sounds grizzly!
Sounds like she got her hand stuck in the rear wheel or something!

quote: "The girl left the vehicle while it was in motion,"
makes it sound like she tried to get while the car was moving...
Just wait for the inevitable backlash about 'unsafe kit cars'
Hope she gets well soon though.

I read it on Teletext local news yesterday, but persumed it would have already been posted on here.
I doubting its a 7 Type car as it would have been easy enough to describe it as such, or 1 of the bigger brands.
Nasty tho!

Eh? Rear nearside wheel. Passenger? Something very strange going on here!!!
Hope she gets well soon.
I'm sure the press will do the usual thing of blowing it completely out of proportion. I used to fly R/C planes and the hooha after someone got
struck by a plane and killed at a R/C airshow was unbelievable. It was obviously very sad and unfortunate but when you compare the safety record with
some "hobbies" it does seem most unjust.
No doubt there will be the usual knee jerk reaction against kit cars but I reckon that the group of people who have the most accidents per mile drive
are Pizza delivery moped riders!!! And I bet they're not going to ban them...
Statistically motorbikes are dangerous things. If you look at the numbers of fatalities on the roads there are only twice as many car fatalities as
motorbike fatalities. When you consider how many cars there are for each motorbike it gets scary....

I wonder if she went to stand up as the driver pulled away. It would explain it.

I cannot undertand this... its like second nature to me putting the belt on, it feels strange to even manouver the car without it.
People in Taxi's do the same thing... Why! its there for a reason, to protect YOU!
P.S I've often gone to sit in the Van to have my lunch and put the seatbelt on
