Can someone with a factory fitted full rollcage give me the measurements for the marked distances please.

Plus also has anyone got any pics of the plate on the bottom of the cage which is welded to the floor/bottom chassis.

make sure you leave enough room for the scuttle and dash when you weld in the front hoop. martin didn't when he made mine and it made the scuttle and therefore the bonnet, and therefore the nosecone and battery panel sit about half an inch further forward than it should

it's only a little thing, but it doesn't half make a difference

Found a pic of the MK show chassis with the rollcage. Its seems to not have much holding the cage to the chassis so would it be better to weld some more box section and mount it on top?

IN RED is where i think the box section should be.

Am i right?

Hi Matt,

The height of the front hoop on mine is 995 above the floor.

They are all slightly different though.

The top front to back braces on mine are parallel tp the floor at the back half of them where most are on an incline.

Don't weld owt till you have the scuttle, nose and bonnet gaffa taped on either - as per what Indykid said.
