Hello

Hi everyone

After a couple of years of reading the posts on here I've finally done it and taken the plunge and picked up a part built Indy.

After a weekend of stripping and cleaning I relieved to see that what I've bought seems pretty decent.

I'm hoping to be on the road for next summer.

If there are any other MKs around Suffolk it would be great to meet up.

Anyway, thanks to everyone for the help so far, I'm afraid I'll be back with plenty of stupid questions...

David

Hello David, nice to see someone else in the Suffolk area. I'm sure there are other MK owners around that will respond soon.

Good luck with your build.

Stu.

You've bought something with the engine at the wrong end, but welcome to the nuthouse

I no longer run Furore Products or Furore Cars Ltd, but would still highly recommend them for Acewell dashes, projector headlights, dominator headlights, indicators, mirrors etc, best prices in the UK! Take a look at http://www.furoreproducts.co.uk/ or find more parts on Ebay, user names furoreltd & furoreproducts, discounts available for LCB users.
Don't forget Stainless Steel Braided brake hoses, made to your exact requirements in any of around 16 colours. http://shop.ebay.co.uk/furoreproducts/m.html?_dmd=1&_ipg=50&_sop=12&_rdc=1

Hi David.

This is my first post also.

I guess your car is one of the four from stoke.

I got the blue one. I would be keen to speak to you sometime to compare notes, particularly about the wiring loom.

Good luck

John

Thanks everyone!

Jake, yes it was one of the 4 from Stoke - the black one. I'll send you a u2u. At the moment the loom is in a box that I can't quite face.

There are several Suffolk based builders on here, not necessarily MK though, but it's always good to meet with builders/drivers of other cars too.
