Hey, the idea is to have a cool car to drive around. Some of us don't have the expertise/equipment/space to complete it ourselves, especially considering the lack of communication with some places you get kits from, but we'll all end up in the same place, hopefully!

I don't recall actually driving that car around Cadwell, they may have been referring to my old MK Indy, with the same running gear, don't think it was the quickest Indy to go round cadwell, but I could get it round in 141 seconds, when I was in on my own,but due to you only having around 120bhp at the rear wheels with the 929 blade, when your 2 up,like most bike engines it takes the edge off the performance, but you have that same running gear in the new spec-R chassis, which handles better than the old chassis,so that time should be able to be improved on,my tip is get yourself some Toyo R888 or similar track tyres fitted, and get booked on a few track days you will love it.

yeah i fancy a track day as i've never done one in a car, funny you should mention r888's as i priced some off a chap on ebay, 195\50/15's £270.00 for a set inc delivery, thats the cheapest i have found,
i'd be interested in knowing if theres anywhere slighty cheaper if anyones bought a set cheaper latley,
i must admit the chasis does feel a hell of a lot better in feel and riding out bumbs and a quite a bit more forgiving when arse end slides about,
having said that i was on 17's with my old indy which arn't the the best size but i never really got it set up like this is.
i would like one of the newer 1000cc lumps later next year or a supercharger on this one as the power a lot less once familiar again
