Lightweight front hubs (sierra alternative)
Hi, still very new to this site. Everything Ive read so far in terms of advice has been worth its weight in gold !
Im building an Mk Indy with the new front internal suspension.
Just curious if anyone has advice on alternative lightweight hub replacements? eg specific companys who manufacture a replacement for the existing
sierra part?
Thanks

Welcome to the forum. MNR/Raceleda manufacture an aluminium replacement for the Sierra hub. They look great and I'm sure they're a good deal
lighter.

Thanks very much for the help. Looks much better than the existing hubs.
Ive just tried contacting someone through this website http://www.racedandrallied.com.
Also is the locostparts website not working? Is MNR the only manufacture who sells these hubs?
Cheers

Raceleda who manufacture the hubs, are owned by MNR. You may be able to get them elsewhere, although I'm not aware of anyone else who
manufactures them.

This comment from Marc in October last year explains the problem with Locostparts.net
hi all
yes we have had to suspend the locostparts site for the time being, due to high workloads we where no longer able to provide the level of service we
pride our selves in being able to offer, most parts are still available through mnr sportscars but fabricated and one offs will now incur a longer
order time

There's also these hubs as an
alternative. They look nice but delivery from GTS may or may not be a problem, depending on which way the wind is blowing.
