Chain drive with interchangeable sprockets for different conditions to a Quaife diff.
Cheers

Note to all: I really don't know when to leave well alone. I tried to get clever with the mods, then when they gave me a lifeline to see the
error of my ways, I tried to incite more trouble via u2u. So now I'm banned, never to return again. They should have done it years ago!

My idea for a cheaper alternative than the quaiffe unit was to turn the engine round, so inline with a sierra dif..
Ned.
beware, I've got yellow skin

i thought about that, would be a very short prop though. And the length shimmy would need to be in the middle as it doesnt slide into the gearbox. But
those quaffe units look neat dont they? any idea how much they are? I guess if you are spending a load on the engine then you may as well have the
nice diff jobby...

been talking to quaife and radical, the one fitted in the back of a radical can be had for a mear 3.5K, the chain driven one with reverse is around
1.5K, without reverse i think there around 5-600, but i aint priced one as i allready have one of those.
small world though, thru my searching found "tranzpower" the guys who run several radicals, he's gonna give the GT1 a once over for
me n i'm still naggin him for a ex radical diff with reverse,
small world bit ??? they are 10mins down road.

strong enough to brake a drive shaft down the pit straight at Donnington, never had a diff or chain problem, infact a broken drive shaft is the only
drive train prob i ever had.
