Has my column collapsed?
I hadn't paid much attention to the column since stripping the donor car last year. However, this evening I started cleaning up the column and
saw that it was quite different to the one in the Haynes manual (haynes show's like a concertina).
in short.... has it collapsed???
Advice appreciated...

the collapsable part is the spring part.
Also its the part where the triangle tube is the inner tube of the outer tube, in a accident that tube will slide further into the other tube.
