Some pumps don't have a return (Fireblade 1000RR) and would need one into the the tank.

The second would be used for a tank vent and connected to a Mocal type breather / tip over valve or alternatively just a doubled over pipe to vent.

HTH.

Better speak to MK, but are you talking about injection or carbs?
If injection the pump will have it's own outlet so the two pipes will be a return and a breather or if an internal pump is used for carbs, one could be the pump outlet and the other a breather.
Normally carbs don't need returns.

It looks to me as you have been supplied a tank that has a pipe for the return to go to, as you do not need I would say you have the wrong tank. In theory you could just blank one of the pipes off.

Speak to MK, IMHO
