MK Indy - Self Centering

Just going through the final SVA prep before booking the test and I set up the front suspension.

I used 1 degree -ve camber, 1 degree tow out and about 15PSI in the front tyres and got some decent self centering, no need for valve springs in the rack.

Hope this helps others.

Cheers

Ian

After 40+ years of the 7, why aren't manufacturers putting castor in their wishbones?
If they did, all this talk of self centering would be history!

10 out of ten with that statement
I have this problem at the moment but a remake of the top bone will cure that.
The other thing is to make sure your steering colum is not binding and it spins freely as well as grease in the rack being dry from standing around for a few years.

IIRC Luego (Grant, Matt et al) wishbones did/do build in castor, they are "handed"
