MK modified parts?
When using a pinto do you need to get a modified gearbox mount from MK? do i have to get the rocker box cover modified as well?
mk didnt mention any of these when i asked them but ive just read them in the build manual

use standard gearbox mount,drill out the rivets and use centre part,oil filler will need to be located at the rear,i used a peice of curved exhaust
pipe and original filler tube

so you modified your filler yourself? how did you do it exactly? why does it need to be done, to stop it interfering with the bonnet?

have a lok at bob,s archive,entitled offending water pipe,just cut a hole n weld the pipe in

The oil filler cap is very tall on sierra pinto's so needs to be relocated or you won't be able to fit the nose cone and bonnett
properly.
HOWEVER!!!!
I managed to get hold of a much lower filler cap which (if my memory serves me right) is from a Transit engine...which i have! This enables you to
keep the oil filler cap where Henry Ford intended!

Does the transit one just screw into place or do you need to weld it on?

isnt the air filter higher than the filler cap anyway? i was gonna cut mine down, but figured it wouldnt change anything cos the airbox was still sat
high.

The Transit oil filler cap is plastic and just pops in the hole on the rocker cover where you put the oil in. It has a built in breather too.... very

Transit jobby you could buy a fibre glass bulge to cover the oil filler cap sticking out the bonnet but i would'nt recomend it as the bulge
would be over the bonnet and nose cone!

Depends on what filter you use but generally you will have to cut a hole in the bonnet for the air filter.

Depending on what you use you may need a power buldge. Im putting dcnf cabs on my CVH and the time I get the filters on I'll need one.
The fill miss the bonnet.

Im Plannin on cutting the original neck of the pip down and using the original cap. I dont see what problem this will cause, if it does, i will just
cut the whole thing off and get someone to weld a new one on and the old one up.
