Indy Zetec / ZX6R carbs 1st Drive
Wow!!
It all works.
The ZX6R carbs and home made manifold all work perfectly - no hesitation or flat spots.
The noisy Zetec sound fine when warmed up and flat out. so I'll live with a bit of rattling when it's cold.
And more importantly it goes like stink compared to the CVH, particularly at the top end.
I need to get a rev counter but it seems to be still pulling hard at what must be about 7k.
I'm well happy and need a track day now for a proper blast!

The jets are drilled out to 1.6mm, needles on the second notch, with a Pipercross pancake filter.
I'm really surprised how well they work as I have fitted them just using the bike rubber inlets bolted to a 5mm ali plate.
The whole carb setup ex filter cost £50, which is about as locost as it gets.
It all fits under the boonet as well.

Yup, not one of my better purchases!
To be honest its not all that bad, but certainly a waste of money, and not as neat as how i've done it.
