Have you found the specific forums for megasquirt at all??

here's one
and another
this will help too

For a zetec you will probably want to look at a set of suitable motorbike throttle bodies from a 600cc+ bike, manifold to suit from the likes of Bogg Bros, use the standard crank position sensor on the flywheel along with the standard coil pack. You will need to look at various sensors for air and water temp etc but the info is all on the links so plenty of evening reading there for you

There are others with infinately more experience than me on here but personally from what i've read i'd be looking at fitting a wideband lambda sensor in the exhaust, which can be configured to map the ECU so you dont need to get it on the rolling road for tuning. Have a look at the 3rd link "FAQ" for info on this.

I would say you need.
The mega squirt, wiring harness for the M S, Air temp sender , Water temp sender, EDIS unit, fuses relays time and patients.

Please add to the list if I’ve missed something.

If you don't know what you're doing, then take a look at extraefi.co.uk or m-tech

And for overseas ($ benefit) diyautotune

Or like me, Agriv8 and Se7ensport
(And I'm building it on a 1.8 silvertop zetec using GSX-R throttle bodies)

I`d avoid Mtech - I had a very bad experience dealing with them (12 week delivery , then sent it after I`d given up and canceled....)
They are not on the BG approved vendors list for very good reason .

Its cuz I is blond , innit
