Pinto Oil

What oil have you guys put into your pintos?? i'm currently using castrol gtx high milage but read somewhere that perhaps its not the best stuff for the job??

They had 15/40 and 10/40 mineral oil in Tesco's tonight 2L for £5.40 Buy1 get one free.

I suppose thats mineral when others are using semi but thats probably what was around and used when the pinto first came on the scene

the advice I got was: pintos are happy with a wide range of oils

basicaly buy a decent brand if you want decent oil

5w/40 or 10w/40 synthetic and change to 10w/50 if its getting too hot / too thirsty

or just stick to standard pinto 15w/40 semi synthetic
