very nice

100% convinced though that those headlamp supports will wobble and given about 2 months will snap due to fatigue

Yep re headlights thought about that, will have a web welded on if this proves a problem.. But they are bigger than they look, 6mm thick by 70mm strip..

Standard clocks.

tj. Yes they will be fine standard MK part. They are not setup yet so not adjusted correctly.

On my Falcon I fitted two lights to the front apron (5mm Aluminium) with large spreader washers, about a month later they fell off after cutting two large neat holes through the metal...

Looking good. Could you explain how you made the bonnet? Look really nice.

And is that a Mangroveworkshop-screen?

Bonnet was made by carefully bending it around a bit of 38mm tube. I first mad a template from lining paper, then cut the ali a bit over size. I couldn't find a bit of tube the correct diameter, to I simply ran the sheet backwards and forwards with a little hand pressure to gently bend to panel. Take ages you need to keep checking again the nose and schuttle. Also the bend radius is different at each end..

This takes an age, as you need to do it bit by bit it's so slow you wonder if your actually bending it! Took about a day to get the shape. Then I bent the ends over into an L with a rubber malt and a couple of wooden batons as per the book.

It's a Westfield screen (can't remember which one though at the moment).
