Hazard perception test,trial runs needed
hi everybody,
took my theory test and hazard perception test today for my PSV lisence.
Got 99 out of a possible 100 for the theory, YAY!
Got 66 for my hazard perception, needed 67 to pass, NOT YAY!
So i need to do some serious swatting up for end of next week but i cant find any good free "dummy run" clips to practice with.
Can any of you guys help?
Cheers.

Assuming its no different to the regular theory test clips - I used this website. You do have to pay, but it was
easily worth it for me.
Hope that helps.

I bought a CD for my normal haz-percep
- Dont know if you can do the same, but certianly i found a stack load on ebay for buttons all.
Otherwise even new its cheaper than a second test.

I have just done my bike theory test last mon, and still have the dvd if that would be any use....
Has mock tests and hazard perception clips, i'd imaging they would all the the same.
not sure what psv is though, so may be different.
If you think it may be of use, i'll send it, and go through a technique that my instructor told me
Let me know if you need it

I found the CD in my local pound shop for £1 (surprisingly!! ) to practice on my computer. Worth looking in the library also

got a crappy BSM one from the library which helped a bit but i need some different clips now as i know where the hazards are on that one.
Tom, if its a DVD ROM its no use to me as i don't have a DVDROM drive but thanks very much for offering.
PSV is for driving Busses/Coaches.
Cheers.

to do hazard perception well, you need to click more. Its only if you get really carried away that it zeros you.

the hazard perception is an absolute joke!
i took my car theory on saturday and passed with 50/50 for theory and 60/75 for hazard perception (on need 44)
then i take my bike theory yesterday get 50/50 again but this time 38/75 so failed which is stupid and means i have to fork out another £30 to take it
again! dont over practise either is my advice! you start to get too confident i found.

The biggest problem with h/p is that the computer is looking for you to click at a certain timeframe. You may pick up the hazard much earlier and
click it only to be wrong????wtf the earlier the better in "Real Life"
If it looks wrong it probably is wrong.

Thanks for all the good advice from you chaps, that Bill Plant one was very good.
Just to update you all, i re-took my Hazard perception test last Thursday and scored 80 so that was a pass. YAY.
then on monday I took the actual driving test and passed that too, double YAY, so I am now a fully qualified driver of buses.
YAAAAAAAY!
