The ultimate donor engine ...
It says it's not for restoration, so may as well use the parts for a donor. The seat might make an interesting donor part!

Imagine that with a Bike Engine!
Would be a bit of a pain not having a reverse though...

I think a more honest advert would read:
"Give me £2800 and you too can have an aeroplane rot in your back garden...."

Nice plane but isn't that an English Electric Lightning parked behind it?
I'd rather have that

Who is this super hero? Sarge? ...No.
Rosemary, the telephone operator? ...No.
Penry, the mild-mannered janitor? ...Could be!

Note to all: I really don't know when to leave well alone. I tried to get clever with the mods, then when they gave me a lifeline to see the
error of my ways, I tried to incite more trouble via u2u. So now I'm banned, never to return again. They should have done it years ago!

And here's my question. the question came about when I found a helicopter on Ebay and was thinking of buying it.
Who is to stop me from buying this jet (or a helicopter) and flying it?
I have a big field so I can take off and land it. I have a book with pictures of aeroplanes in it and I'm sure there must be some youtube flying
lessons somewhere.................
If I fire up my helicopter and take to the skies, who is going to chase me? The BiB?
Anyway. I'm not allowed to buy an aircraft....

Yes but you may end up with a gap between the bonnet and chassis.
