I agree with the pics thing, but you might want to consider doing a blog too. As you're just starting out, it could make good reading

Put a link to the blog in sig strip at bottom of your posts.

Re where to start, I'd recommend the build manual

Hi Chippy, ordered my MK kit this week also so 5 weeks from now I should take delivery. The blogspot.com site is a good place to create a blog.

Picasaweb is a good place to put pics and comments and is pretty simple to set up. Mine is not as detailed with descriptions as a blog, but all anybody wants are the pics anyways, not all the frustrations!
