A quick thanks to MK sportscars

Mods, apologies if this is the wrong place to post.

I just wanted to say thanks to Phil at MK sportscars and to let people know of the great service I received.

After a wasted trackday at Silverstone at the end of September, when my gear linkage snapped during the first session, a quick note to MK sportcars and Royal mail, mean that a new part arrived last last week.

A little bit of tinkering and it was fitted on Saturday morning ready for a blast on Sunday afternoon.

A heart felt thank you as I managed to get a ride out in some fantastic weather before winter sets in.

Cheers
Craig

Glad to hear you got it sorted. What was the broken piece in the end?

Colin, no idea what it was from originally. I sent the offending part of to MK Sportcars and they simply made up a steel bar with a spline at one end, and I simply drilled a hole for the linkage as needed.

Yeh, thankfully the gearbox did not suffer. Took the car out yesterday and had a nice 40 mile run including a 6 mile run with a bike in some twisties in Hampshire. No false neutrals, shifted brilliantly each time - just a pity that I lost a day at the track with it, the first time around.

Ping me your next track day, and I will see if I can keep up.
Cheers
Craig
