I took the F27 to Curborough his afternoon and had a great hoot! A group of mates had hired the circuit for the day, and all chipped in to the cost. They took a BBQ, and plenty of (non alcoholic!) drinks. We had all sorts of cars, plenty of high powered scoobies, R1 & Hayabusa powered mini's, BMW drift car to name a few. Had a real good time finding some handling limits off the public road. Managed to damage a cycle wing, as it come loose, but all in all a great afternoon . The short circuit suited my blade powered 27 perfectly!
sounds like a locostbuilders sprint day could be organised there?
Curborough is a fantastic track and ideal for locost type cars.
myself a a group of friends have been booking in for a track day at least once a year for a few years now. as you get the track to your self its ideal
for evaluating your car and making tweaks to it. the tool caddy normaly comes along and adjustments are made during the day. and for the price of the
day you carnt beat it !
Yep, great little circuit for testing on.
And, more importantly, cheap
how much does it cost for the day?

my car wont be ready for then. but whens your next one after that? im looking to do a shakedown before blyton on 20th september!
I'd be up for it, but I'm away that week on my hols. I'm not sure what the exact cost was but can find out. We coughed up £40 each for a mid week day (bargain), depends on numbers though obviously. My mate is on about organising another before long, so if there are spaces available ill post it up.
I will be there on the 22nd, great little technical circuit, perfect for fine tuning your cars handling
