Well, have made a start at repairing the nose cone, and am now wondering what colour to paint it (As I reckon getting the colour match for the blue
will be difficult). So, what do people reckon to going for black?
Here is my car (prior to nose cone damage):

So, any opinions?
Oh, this will only be a temporary measure as will get a new nose cone at some stage!

Yep - Black would look cool.
I'm tempted with a bright yellow! Black will disappear as the blue is quite dark.
What about doing black with a blue ring around the front of the nose to tie it to the rest of the car.
Glow in the dark
black would be good...
what happened to your nosecone?

Looks good with the black, excuse the dodgy use of paint!
Rescued attachment caged.jpg
looks like the same blue as plasticoat
how about black, but in satin finish and tie it in with the rest of the car with a set of stripes running nose to tail.....
but then the missus always says i have no taste at all.
Personally I think blue and yellow go together quite well so I'd be tempted to do that!!
The Westfield car body colour changer is useful here....
yellow!
or kawasaki green!

I'd try and color match first, then black if this is not good enough..

white and black squares like a chequered flag.

Im not too keen on black.
I think yellow or ^^^ or keep it blue. Paint the whole cone and you will probably be the only one who notices the difference.
what about black nosecone with black wings?
blue to blueblack shopped
id just leave it bust, less effort next time you bend it

Cheers all, reckon I will give the blue a try first, then if it looks really crap will try black!
Just got to wait until the weather is warmer for the paint to get a better chance to set!

That's a good plan. I've tried in the damp, and it never sticks. Bring it inside to dry completely once you do paint it.
