Ok searched through archives on here and get two answers for my question :-

What handbrake cable is used on the Avon?

Some say Golf - which one and does it need modifying?

Some say modified Sierra.......

Have made a linkage from lever as per archive pics of others, but some show a threaded connection as per golf and others with solderless nipples (are these ok for Norwich test?)

Help appreciated

The standard westfield item will probably suit if using standard sierra handbrake.
