I'd heard that there might be a new shape of body being developed for the Avon, ...when I last phoned Richard at Plumstead he knew nothing about it !!!

I certainly would consider a close look before I splash the cash on new GRP.

I chattted with Jim about this at Stoneliegh this year. Yes there are plans for a new body for the Avon which should be a possible retrofit to existing chassis,(apparently it will be in the style of a 50's/60's racer) however;
Jim said he has taken a commision for a new One-off project and has had to postpone development of the new project....

You think they would get the existing body sorted before pratting about with a new one,god alone knows what that would be like.
