What kind of ignition system has people used. I assume you may of used the bosch electronic. Is this any good with a pinto with a piper cam? I have heard that burtons now do a road/race kit which includes a dizzy coil and ignition kit so is easy to wire up etc. Is the bosch system ok in terms of cost/performance?

Also im looking at fitting 40's onto this engine but from what im told i really need 45's. Does anyone know or have experience of running 40's on a pinto with a piper cam.

sorry one final question what type of manifold do i need?

I have a bosch system coming from the scrappy, ive got second hand 40's with a manifold but after spending all that money on an engine im now worried it might be wasted as i dont have the right bits for it. Having said that the pinto's only got a fast road cam on it so from what i can find out they may just work alright.
