Instruments decision...... Or not
wombat - 24/4/15 at 11:34 PM

Aaargh I can't make my mind up between Acewell 6456 and Koso RX2n+ Instruments?
Or am I being dumb not taking the Tiger dials.
The digi seems a cheaper alternative, but of course the Tigers are plug n play to the loom.
Digi looks more modern which is good, but are smaller than I would have preferred.
Any thoughts???

For a zetec? Both the dials you list seem to have rev ranges that suit bikes?

I know RXN2+ is avaliable in 10k or 20k revs

Just fitting one to my car, but 20k version for my bike engine.
impressed so far with ease of setup and quality of it.

Sorry sorry, should have said 10k versions
Kev what made you choose Koso over Acewell or separates?

I've got a DD2 lite with gps. Lot less clutter on the dash in my opinion

I also run DD2 Lite. Very good system, user friendly and neat.

Had a look at DD2 but a bit out of my price range at moment...

just looks in the end!

never considered seperates tbh, as with the bike engines I think they look better using original bike clocks or single units like koso and acewell.

I also have the Koso RX2n+. Decision was based on cost alone as bought it second hand for £140. If cost was not a issue I would have separate gauges as I do think their easier to read and easier to add another gauge if needed. Although I'm pleased with mine oil pressure would have been nice, a separate gauge now would look out of place.
