Now I'm confused...
Out in the garage thinking, yea the back end is looking good all bolted together. Looking at the metal bushes, thinking Hmmm i've put them in
the righ place place. rear upper outboard... When I fitted them I did a search here and found...
"Im told by sue that the metal ones go in the rear upper outboard wishbones as the poly type bushes wouldnt allow the upright to go in"
Which I did...
Now I read when I double check I read...
"Metal bushes should be fitted in the lower outboard joint of the rear susspension"
Oh hum... Am I ok or shuld I buy another 4 and fit them on the bottom wishbones too?
I haven't fitted any of them. I used Polybushes all round. I wouldn't worry if I was you.
80 years back all car suspensions used metal bushes --- they were bad news thats why the rubber "Silentbloc" bush was invented.
Yea its all bolted together fine, so will just leave as is... I think I have them in the right place anyway now I look at it.
Thanks :-)
