Dear All,
I am trying to fit my cycle wing stays onto the cortina hubs on the three mounting points.
Problem I have is that there is limited flat surface at these point on the hub and the spacers I made are too large in diameter to get them to sit
properly. I would be keen to know how others have got round this.

I got this pic from somewhere (can't remember where) and have used the same method, except that I have the head of the bolt on the inside. The
sequence goes something like:
Bolt head-washer-stay-washer-split washer-plain nut
then the run of the bolt
then plain nut-washer-hub carrier (htreaded hole)
I think I will have to cover up the bolt threads with something like heater tubing

I used 13mm tube to fill in the gaps, welded to the back of 3mm plate
