hi all i got a fan belt from tiger and it is a bit to big. it is 180mm its about 50mm to big i am useing a 2.0 pinto with a lucas100 alternator is there any thing i am doing wrong?(tiger Avon)

since no one seems to have answered this one, i'll ask is it really 180mm, or is it 810mm.

i'm running a rascal alternator on mine, but am using a 737mm belt.

the easiest way around the problem would be to go to a car accessory shop, and ask for the length of belt you want in mm. it wont be to the mm, but it'll be somewhere near. it should be around 3 quid.

sorry it is 850mm and i need a 830mm sorry for the cock up i will go amd have a look in halfords or a motor shop at the weekend thanks
