We are using a Sierra 4x4 cable cut in half on sierra 4x4 calipers. The calipers are swapped left to right so the cable does not foul.

vw clutch cable is what i used. its a bit tight though, although works well. I cut the ball off the end and used those cable clamp things, the cable goes through the hole and you do up a nut, those things. Anyway my avon failed at newcastle for this. I phoned tiger and they said the have never had a car fail with them. In the end i had to get balls crimped on at the right distance down the docks. Manual crimps are no good for newcastle they have to be put on by hydraulics(sp). This caused me problems which resulted in me grinding a slot in the handbrake caliper mechanism for the cable to pass through side ways and a slot had to be ground in the tiger chassis handbrake mounts. I had to grind slots basically because the cable had to go onto the car fully assembled with washers. obviously the washers have to be biggar than the hole the cable passes through so it wont go on, hence the slots.

I did exactly what DEcay did. No need to buy a new cable.
