just brought track & race cars magazine and they track test an avon classic?.An avon with a zetec a classic! i thought a classic had to be over 20 years old.Anyway it gets some good comments from the testers one being michael mallock.

just been reading the mag and they will be building an avon in the for use as a race car, must have been impressed.

More like a CLASSIC case of can't be arsed to bend the screen uprights from what I can see. And the striker is now 3.7seconds slower than it was this time last year. The Avon is 2.5seconds quicker than July 04. Thats got to be good as its lost 30bhp as well. HHhhmmmmmmm!!!!!!!!

Glad you noticed the time differences as well.

Some cars went slightly quicker but others have lost over 5 secs per lap from previuos tests. Not very consistant testing or they've changed the track config. Probably cus they use cones to mark it out!
