So who's used them and what are they like. What do you need to make them fit?
Thanks
Triton, if you're reading this could you U2U / email me regarding the dash ?
Comfy - even without any padding and a lott better angle than many of the others.
Think they are all the same rake as the back panel in a locost.
I think they all have 4 integral hollow square feet that just sit on the floor and you bolt straight throught the floor and seat with one bolt -
although some have an integral 8mm thread, but fit the same way.
I have the Wizard hat ones and low back Wizard hat ones for reference.
Pat...
Wizard What?
Hows the new project going, missing the avon?
Was it a drive in a motorcycle powered car that mad you change?
I'm just waiting for the funds to build up and buy some - also hoping he can do me a dash and a back panel thingy...
Will they fit on Metro runners? I need my seats to be adjustable?
Wizard = witch's hat - the design of the seat ;-) the top bit looks like a witch's or wizards hat depending on your preference ;-)
Cheers,
Murray

Yep - they're the ones.
Will fit on Metro runners - that's how I've got the drivers.
Yep, I miss the Avon, but also missed the building.
Started building a BEC before I sold the Avon and before I had a passenger ride in one - fancied the challenge and wanted to build a car from scratch
around the engine. Chassis done now, just a few odds and ends before I paint it.
Watch this space,

I've got one of his wide seats. I'm 6 foot-ish, 13.5 stone and it fits like a glove. More importantly, the build quality is excellent and
the seat is stiff (unlike most of the others I tried at the last Exeter kit car show)
Seat fastens to older style Metro seat rails with 4 M8 bolts. There's bighead fasteners glassed into the mounting points. The underside of the
seat is shaped so that when it is mounted on the rails, the middle of the seat is as close as posssible to the floor of the chassis.
The price is excellent for the quality, and the guy's easy to deal with.
Don't think about it, just get them.
I have some of tritons seats fitted to my Tiger B6 which is nearing completion,
They are of excelent quality and are very comfy while I sit in the garage making brrrrrrm noises
I have used some very thin adjusters which came off fork truck seats at work.(they didn't need them anyway
)
Regards Kipper.
I have a pair of his seats (see my blog for pics), although they are not instaled yet, they seem to be v.comfy and are top quality and good value!
Thanks Triton!!!
