When painting the rear plates for my brakes can I use any paint and should I prime the plates as well? cheers

Rear plates?? Do u mean back plates?? If so i just cleaned mine up with brake cleaner and sprayed them with the engine enamel i had left over. Maybe best to use red oxide primer if your using normal paint.
