whats the best way and also what needs to be set up on the avon for SVA. i.e camber etc

First find a level floor, camber is easy you just need a spirit level or plumb bob.

I used a lazer on the rims on the wheels and used posts etc to shine the light on . Doing this with a bit of schoolboy trig you can work out the toe in checking aginst the centreline. Toe up the rears first otherwise if you only toe up the front it could be travelling a little crablike. I have the rears set at 0.1 degree toe in with .5 degree neg camber.
The front can be done next doing the same. But first make sure the steering wheel is locked straight and the rack has equal turns left and right ie central.
My toe in is 0.25 degrees each side with 1 degree neg camber.
The biggest difference to the handling though is using good tyres - an absolute must.

Oh make sure the ride heights are right before doing anything. You should be able to get the track rods level which will reduce bump steer. The rear wants to be slightly higher than the front.

jeepers and i was hoping it was an easy job. I guess i need a couple of suspensions spanners from burtons then for the ride height. Do you follow the suggested ones in the book?
